We just returned from a few amazing days in the presence of the Lord. We led worship at a conference in Schiphol-Rijk, close to Amsterdam. The presence of the Lord was so powerful. We worshipped for many hours with the people there as we prepared for a day of battle, intercession & worship in the heart of the city of Amsterdam, right in the middle of the redlight district.
 

We were so happy to have friends join us in the worship team from the UK and Holland: Dave Bainbridge, Phil Barker, Jan-Peter Beijersbergen, and Niek & Elbert Smelt. What a joy to worship together and move into the flow of the Spirit. When that happens we really experience heaven and earth coming together and that the Lord is establishing & confirming His designs in our lives, cities and countries. There is so much power when we move out of the familiar songs and start to move into the realms of the Spirit. Awesome!

The day in Amsterdam was powerful. Matthijs & Willemijn Piet rented the Old Church (Oude Kerk) in the middle of the so called red light district, known for its sexual perversions. Walking around there and driving through, it really feels like being in Sodom & Gomorrah. In the evening there was a soccer game between Holland & Scotland, so the streets were flooded with fans drinking, shouting, engaging in sexual perversions, being aggressive. Which again reminded us of the fact that there is such a strong connection between the worship of man (in this case the soccer game), violence and sexual perversion. The darkness is great and can feel overwhelming, but what a joy to worship God in the middle of that and see the light pierce right through this darkness and calling people back into their destinies as Sons & Daughters of the living God. We took a boatride on the canals in the opposite direction of the gay pride parade and broke the powers of darkness over the city as we worshipped Jesus in all His splendour. We saw many strongholds broken over the city and we will see many things start to change in the tome to come.

In the evening we led worship in the Old Church and we really experienced heaven coming down. Many were set free from bondage and as we worshipped, the room filled with angels. People saw light shooting out from the church and spreading in Amsterdam, I saw banners of white fabric shooting out of the church to usher in the Glory of the Lord. Marlou had a vision of a huge teardrop of God coming down and exploding in the middle of the church, giving life everywhere. It truly was amazing.

Now is the time to reap what was sown and for the people of God to take action! Where are the workers? If you read this: you are! The time of waiting for something to happen is over: it is time to come out of passivity and do what God has told you. The fields are ready for harvest, will you be a harvester for the Lord?
