Succoth Celebration in Israël |

We are in Israël from October 2-10 for the Succoth Celebration. We will be co-leading worship at this conference with our friends Barry & Batya Segal, Dave Bainbridge and Adrie Klöne. We go to Israël for Succoth almost every year, and it is such a joy to be in this amazing country and worship God here on Holy ground. We see it as a part of the fulfillment in scripture where it says: "On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord... Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, there will be no rain upon them." Leviticus 23:34, Zechariah 14:16-17 |

Quite unexpectately, we have asked by our friends from TRIN to join them on a missions trip to Uganda from June 10-17, to visit the orphanage of Joseph Mubega, where he takes care of some 200+ orphans who mostly lost their parents because of aids. We have known Joseph for a couple of years now, and always wanted to go to Uganda, so we are so happy the doors opened to do that. With only a week's notice, it is short to prepare, but we know it is the Lord's timing.
I will bring my drumkit, so we will have a blast singing, rejoicing, drumming, dancing with the kids to honour the Master of Rhythm & Dance: Yeshua Himself!
We promised Joseph to bring a soundsystem with us, so I am off today to buy one... Since we have to pay part of our trip ourselves, we are looking for people who want to sponsor us with a gift. We need about 500 euro's to be able to buy something decent for Joseph. Thank you for considering us! |
